University of Lethbridge - International Student Scholarships

International Student Scholarships

The University of Lethbridge has set aside funds exclusively for international students. New and returning students are eligible for an award of $1,000 in either the Fall or Spring semester. An application is not necessary for these scholarships as all students are considered based on grade point average.

Additional Scholarships

Students entering Undergraduate programs at the University of Lethbridge are considered for entrance awards if an application for awards is submitted by the deadline. Generally, unless otherwise stated, visa students are eligible for the same awards that Canadian residents are eligible to apply for.
Once admitted to the U of L, a separate scholarship application is required by June 1 for students commencing their studies in September and November 1 for students commencing their studies in January.
Detailed descriptions and values of the University of Lethbridge administered scholarships are also printed in part 16 of the University of Lethbridge Calendar which can be viewed online. All scholarships, regardless of faculty are based on academic performance and are awarded accordingly.

Scholarships and Awards

The University of Lethbridge offers a wide range of scholarships and bursaries which serve to recognize the achievements of students who pursue their university education at the UofL and can be used to defray your education costs. 1) a student entering the University from high school; or
2) a student entering the University from another post-secondary institution; or
3) a student continuing studies at the UofL; or
