Goldsmith University of London Scholarship

Funding information for international postgraduate students starting in 2007
Fees for postgraduate taught Masters and research programmes are already set by each university and so the new scheme will not affect these. To find out the cost of your programme of study please see postgraduate tuition fees.
Goldsmiths is committed to supporting postgraduate students and has a range of Scholarship Schemes available for International postgraduate Students.
Goldsmiths international postgraduate scholarships
There are up to 16 competitive awards which act as a partial fee waiver of £1500 to an international student applying to study for a full-time taught postgraduate programme.
To be eligible to apply you must be holding an offer of a place on a full-time postgraduate taught degree, have an international fee liability and are self-financing to some extent, you will also need to demonstrate academic excellence and / or significant achievement in your chosen field of study.

International country specific postgraduate scholarships

There are up to 5 awards that act as partial fee waiver of £1000 to a student studying a full-time taught postgraduate programme. Students must be domiciled in either Chile, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan or Russia.
To be eligible to apply you must be holding an offer of a place on a full-time postgraduate degree; have an international fee liability, are self-financing to some extent, and you must be domiciled in one of the countries stated above. You should also be able to demonstrate academic excellence and / or significant achievement in your chose field of study.
International postgraduate research scholarships
There are up to two awards of £2000 which will act as a partial fee waiver for students applying to study on a research led postgraduate programme.

To be eligible to apply you must be holding an offer of a place on a full-time postgraduate research degree, have an international fee liability and are self-financing to some extent, you will also need to demonstrate academic excellence and / or significant achievement in your chosen field of study.

How to apply

Apply to the International office by the 1 April in the year you propose to begin your study, you should also tick the box in the fees and awards section of the postgraduate application form. Please check that the deadline of the 1st April meets with the departmental deadline for your course. Your application form must include one side of A4 (maximum) explaining why you wish to be considered for the award on the basis of the specific eligibility criteria outlined above. Please state clearly which scholarship(s) you are applying for. To be considered for a scholarship you must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer by the 1 June .
If you have already applied for your course please make a separate application for the Scholarship by submitting one side of A4 (maximum) explaining why you wish to be considered for the award with reference to the eligibility criteria. Please state clearly which scholarship(s) you are applying for. You will also need to include your name, student reference number, name of the course you have applied for. Please submit your application to the International Office. To be considered for a scholarship you must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer by the 1 June.
