International Recruitment Office Scholarships - 2007/2008 for undergraduate students


We have a number of scholarships available, up to a maximum of £2,000 per year of study, for high-achieving undergraduate students (overseas fee payers). Scholarships are allocated to students from a number of different countries, which are nominated on a rotational basis. No more than one scholarship will be awarded per country, per year for medical students. There is no need to make a separate application for these scholarships as all students who have firmly accepted a place at Bristol by 31st May 2007 will automatically be considered.
For 2007 entry, applicants who are overseas fee payers and resident in the following regions will be considered: Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Latin America, Malaysia, Mauritius, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, USA, and Vietnam.Please select this link for terms of elibility and guidelines.



for taught postgraduate students


We are pleased to announce 10 scholarships available to international taught postgraduate students (overseas fee payers) from any country.
Anyone who has submitted an application for a taught postgraduate programme, to arrive at the University by Friday 29 June 2007, is eligible to apply. Applicants must subsequently firmly accept their offer of a place by Friday 10 August in order to be considered for the scholarship. Please note that we cannot consider a student for the scholarships if a scholarship application form has not been submitted, and the submitted essay must consist of 500 - 800 words.
