King's College London operates an annual scholarship scheme for students from Hong Kong. The College is indebted to the Alumni Association of King's College London in Hong Kong and Kwok & Yih who sponsor the awards.
The number and value of the awards made in any one year are determined by the selection committee. They have a maximum value of £4,500 per year and are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. The awards are normally made for the duration of the course, with a maximum tenure of three years.

Eligibility
Candidates should normally have received an offer of a place to study at the College before applying for a scholarship and plan to start their studies at King's in September 2007. Candidates must also be normally resident in Hong Kong.
The selection of successful candidates will be made by the selection committee at the end of August when summer examination results are available and will involve an interview in Hong Kong. The selection committee will consider and evaluate your academic achievements, your financial means, and your plans for what you will do after you graduate to reach their decision.
In addition, the Kwok & Yih Scholarship is open to undergraduate and postgraduate candidates applying for Law. One scholarship is awarded annually and has a value of £4,500.
We regret that we cannot accept scholarship applications from students planning to read medicine or dentistry.

Candidates can download the application form as a pdf document and should return their completed forms, together with a full curriculum vitae, examination records, a confidential letter of support from school or university department (whichever is relevant) and family means of support at their earliest possible opportunity, to be received by the selection committee no later than 31 July 2007, to the following address:
